Winter Solstice 冬至

Winter Solstice is here. It marks the new year to the Taoist who studied the seasons and how to live in harmony with nature. It will be the shortest day and the peak of yin, and the start of yang. Days will slowly start to get longer again and warm will eventually return in spring. We mentioned in a previous message that Winter is the time of the kidneys and the water element. Be sure to bundle up from the cold winds and stay hydrated.
