How does this all work and how can we assist you from afar? First we will be good listeners and provide assistance within the scope of our practice.

As you may or may not know, Chinese medicine is built on 4 pillars.
1. Nutrition and herbs.
2. Acupuncture.
3. Tui Na/Acupressure massage.
4. Qigong.

We can give you nutritional advice and prescribe herbal formulas that can be drop shipped to your home, we can give you a set of acupuncture points you can stimulate with acupressure, we can give you customized qigong (breathing exercises) and guided meditations. All these methods are used to increase vital qi, blood, and fluid circulation throughout the body to improve health and a state of wellness.

Currently one of the most helpful herbal products out on the market is Immune + and Yu Ping Feng San also known as “Jade wind Screen”. Jade Wind screen was used in the first SARS epidemic and Chinese doctors have suggested it use for today as a preventative as it boosts the immune system. Immune + is the same formula but with a modern name and the addition of Reishi which has additional immune boosting with a mind calming effect.

As for qigong there are hundreds of types. Matthew has studied qigong for 30 years and teaches it at Virginia University of Integrative Medicine to students in the Oriental medicine program. Matthew can customize a personal “prescription” just for you based on this ancient and modern methods.
